The Outdoor Wire: “Walk the Talk America to Keynote 2026 Wyoming Suicide Prevention Symposium”

Walk the Talk America (WTTA) founder and CEO Michael Sodini will deliver a keynote at the 2026 Wyoming Suicide Prevention Symposium, held September 15 and 16 at the Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne. Hosted by the Wyoming Injury and Violence Prevention Program under the theme “Stronger Together: Building Networks of Hope,” the symposium brings together clinicians, researchers, community leaders, and individuals with lived experience. Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon is also slated to speak.

Communities arrive carrying lived experience, identity, and deeply held values about responsibility and safety. Walk the Talk America entered this space not to argue statistics but to provide an alternative perspective in a world where trust is fragile, language matters, and the success of any solution depends on whether the people it is meant to help are willing to engage.

Walk the Talk America Awarded Grant to Serve Northern Nevada Corrections Officers

Walk the Talk America is honored to announce that we have been awarded grant funding from the Nicholas & Dorothy Cummings Foundation to provide mental health training and support for corrections officers and staff in Northern Nevada. This funding allows us to begin delivering onsite, in-person mental health education to corrections professionals in the region.
