Advisory Board Member

Eddie Davenport

Eddie is a Clinical Social Worker Intern and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. He is also a lifelong competitive shooter and Second Amendment advocate. This makes Eddie uniquely positioned to help bridge the gap between gun culture and mental health culture. Eddie also has a background as a first responder and is open about his past struggles with PTSD, as well as the struggles of being pro-second amendment within the mental health world.

Eddie is passionate about the mission of WTTA and routinely is a guest on podcasts talking about the organization. Eddie understands the need to train mental health counselors in the gun culture world while helping gun owners maintain their own mental well-being without fear or stigma.
