Jose Fierro

Jose Fierro is a retired Marine combat veteran with a passion for Veteran outreach. He helmed a landmark consulting project for the University of California, Berkeley’s Center for Social Sector Leadership in helping the California Department of Veteran’s Affairs improve the way they market their services to Veterans. Similarly, he has assisted Walk the Talk America in refining their mission and focusing on reducing the number of suicides by firearms, which disproportionally affects the Veteran community. Mr. Fierro brings fiscal discipline and rigor to the Treasurer role and will continue to provide pro bono management consulting services to enable Walk The Talk America to become the premier organization for taking action operating in the intersection of mental health and firearms. Mr. Fierro has a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
